Facility capital Planning

T-A-G has significant experience supporting federal agencies with capital planning initiatives.

T-A-G evaluated business process improvements for the USCG Facility Planning Program and is currently providing technical oversight of planning efforts for hurricane supplemental investment at Key West as well as a feasibility study for east coast OPC homeporting.  Over the last eight years, T-A-G personnel developed NOAA’s Facilities Business Case Analysis process, and guided the completion of nine capital initiatives, with outcomes supporting approximately 1 million square feet of mission-essential facilities associated with aviation and vessel homeporting, weather equipment repair & warehousing, and science labs on each coast.

Enterprise-Wide Facility Management Efforts

T-A-G personnel have supported numerous enterprise-wide facility management efforts, including development of the USCG Mission Support Business Model and supporting requirements directives, Configuration Standard Technical Orders, and Process Guides. Our crew supported the development of Housing Asset Line configuration and maintenance standards, analysis of equipment criticality, and direct support for asset enrollment. Our staff worked closely with the Coast Guard to successfully mature the organizational level maintenance (OLM) program, by developing and implementing agency-wide improvements to business and management processes, enterprise data quality, and personnel training.  T-A-G also assessed the USCG Environmental Management Portal for potential enterprise-wide scaling.  Beyond the USCG, T-A-G provided leadership and tactical management supporting the development of NOAA’s BUILDER™ Implementation Plan, as well as it’s agency-wide Real Property Validation Implementation Planning and implementation.  Key staff have supported programmatic efforts for NASA (strategic asset planning and risk management), the U.S. Navy (resource, risk and asset management), ports (asset and risk management) and the U.S. Army (strategic asset planning).
